Donate a new, unwrapped toy at a participating local business from November 2 through December 2, 2026
The Cops, Kids & Toys 2026 Holiday Toy Drive is underway! Businesses across Tompkins County are hosting donation bins, making it easy to add a little holiday joy to your next shopping trip or errand.
Every donation helps our volunteer-run organization bring holiday gifts to local children. Whether you choose a cuddly stuffed animal, some age-appropriate books, a colorful building set, or a science kit that sparks curiosity, your generosity helps make the season brighter.
What can you donate?
We welcome new, unwrapped toys and gifts, including:
- New stuffed animals
- Board games and puzzles
- Building sets and toy vehicles
- Science and discovery kits
- Children’s books for all ages
- Arts and crafts supplies
- Baby and toddler toys
As you shop, consider the different interests of babies, children and teens. A creative project, a challenging game, or an engaging book can be just as exciting as a traditional toy.
Your gifts really matter
Donation bins are available November 2 through December 2 at participating businesses across Tompkins County. Please check the host business’s hours before dropping off your donation. A few businesses have late donation bin pick-ups after December 2, but try to get them in early so that our volunteer "elves" can sort the toys and pack the bags!

Thank you to the many businesses hosting bins, the volunteers coordinating the drive, and everyone donating a gift. Your kindness keeps this community tradition going.
Can’t make it to a donation bin or prefer to make a monetary gift? We do our best to fulfill each child’s wishes. Your generosity helps our volunteers purchase gifts to fill gaps in the donated toys and match children’s wish lists. Make a monetary donation.
Join us and donate a new, unwrapped toy. Together, we can share holiday joy, one gift at a time.
